So here's our line up... see also: Wood-Aged Beer Fest 2017 7th Annual Wood-Aged Beer Festival SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 16, 2017 WOOD-AGED BEER FEST 2017 Join us for a day of celebration as we raise a glass to the unique flavor profiles of wood-aged beers. 20+ limited, rare, barrel-aged and foeder-aged beers on tap-- Old favorites and new experiments. 2 identical sessions: Noon-3p, 5-8p Tickets are $35 which includes admission to festival, collector's tasting glass, 10 tasting tokens (used for beer as well as festival foods!) This year we're also offering an exclusive take-home beer option. For the collector, connoisseur, or just straight up beer-lover-- we've got a limited availability WABFpack of special wood-aged beers in our signature 500ml bottles. The pack will include 3 different varieties: Guaranteed sips: Paris (2017 vintage), red wine barrel-aged saison (guarantee yourself a bottle, as it gets released Sept 14 at the Pub) Cellar raid: Tower of Sour (2016 vintage), foeder-aged sour - complex notes of ripened black cherries, roasted coffee, cocoa, oak First time debut: Wondrous Strange, wood-fermented juicy IPA. Aged in oak puncheons and ruthlessly dry hopped in the NE style. Only available in this exclusive WABFpack. These bottle tickets will be limited, first come first served, limit 2 WABFpacks per admission ticket. Must pick up at Festival. Angelina (award winning sour), Habanango (barrel aged sour aged with mangos and habanero peppers), Love Shadow (Bourbon barrel aged Imperial stout) have all been earmarked to save and bring back (since we may have drank thru them at the Pub by mid September!). Our Master of Wood, Brian Kuszynski has bourbon barrels, soured foeders, gin barrels, scotch barrels, coffee, fruit, and more at his disposal... and along with the rest of our brewing staff, a whole bunch of creativity.
